Each year Claudio Franca Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu chooses a charity organization to support. We will donate 25% off all ticket sales proceeds to support this year's charity--the Second Harvest Food Bank. We also invite you to help support this charity by bringing several non-perishable food items--e.g., enough to fill a small grocery bag--for the food bins that we will have in the lobby at the American CUP BJJ Tournament. To show our thanks for your generosity we will give those who a donate a free t-shirt or DVD from a previous U.S. Open event.

To educate and involve individuals to end hunger and alleviate malnutrition in our communities.

Who We Are
In operation since 1972, Second Harvest Food bank of Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties is a nonprofit organization providing food and basic necessities to people in need in our service area. We serve over 43,000 clients monthly through a network of 160 agencies and programs.

What We Do

Acquire food from the food industry and community donations and distribute emergency food boxes through neighborhood food pantry networks, USDA food distribution, and Food for Children distribution. Operate the Community Food Hotline, which provides over 4,000 emergency food assistance referrals during the year.
